The steps below follow the order of the work for this halloween project.
Throwing a party isn’t quite what it used to be. The explosion of options made available to us thanks to the Internet and its creative users and sharers have raised the bar when it comes to all things celebratory. But don’t let all the fuss over party themes and elaborate finger foods stress you out when planning your next party – because whether it’s an anniversary dinner, backyard barbeque, graduation, or your kid’s special birthday bash, the only thing you really need to add a bit of flair is a great backdrop.
Start with the basics of party décor and grab some inspiration from these 28 options to create a backdrop for a photo booth, banquet table, or reception area that is sure to draw attention. Use classics like balloons and streamers in new ways or go outside the box with feather boas or vintage sheets. No matter what kind of a backdrop you choose, you’ll be on your way to the well fitted party… without all the hassle!

Kayla Lilly is a photographer, writer, wife, and mama making a house a home in eastern Idaho. She met her mister while working at an amusement park and married him a year later after deciding there was no way to live without him. The amusement has continued as they’ve added three kids and a passel of pets to their lives while finishing college and starting a photography business. Drawing inspiration from the whirlwinds of marriage, parenthood, and the media, Kayla blogs at www.utterlyinexperienced.blogspot.com, and spends the rest of her time chasing chickens, organizing junk drawers, diapering toddlers, and photographing everyone willing to step in front of her lens.
