This remodel inspiration by room walkthrough stays in the order the work happens.
It’s Friiiiiday! (Well, almost. Probably by the time you see this.) Which means it’s time to share our Friday favorites — anything we’ve seen and loved throughout the week, it comes here. Since it’s that time of year, today we have mostly organizing options for you. What’s the best thing you’ve seen this week?

go-to functional shelving: I’ve loved these corner shelves at A striking Mess for ages now. They use inexpensive track shelving tracks and brackets, with wood shelves, so they’re affordable but also just so functionally good looking. Versatile for whatever space you have or need!

go-to kid-friendly tip: I pinned these tips for organizing art supplies from direct As That — I love the little storage containers that she used for markers and crayons! So many uses for those, and straightforward to stack. [Repin this here]

go-to organized pantry (possibly ever): I would LOVE to have an organized space like Nina Hendrick’s! So vivid, and they DIYed it!

go-to newly discovered cleaning gadget: Anytime we post about wainscoting and really cool wall treatments, one of the top complaints we hear is “but think of all the dusting!” — well, this well-reviewed dusting gadget looks like a great solution, whether you’ve got baseboards and crown molding or a lot more trim around your house to shine up!

go-to kitchen drawers: We featured Queen Bee of Honey-Do’s utensil drawer here — she also has an memorable organized dish drawer AND a great spot for knives and spices! See more here. [Shared at the link party — be sure to come share your projects, also below to make it straightforward for ya!]

go-to organizing tips: These tips at The 36th Avenue are so great! I need to start saving soda tabs to double up my hangers…

go-to bathroom storage-plus-decor: We featured this bathroom pipe wall organizer by Ana White awhile back as an option for functional but pretty wall decor — and I just keep thinking how brilliant it is! Versatile, industrial-modern, and straightforward to Handmade. [Repin this here]

go-to laundry hamper: Based on this brilliant option [pinned here] — I’m proposing that every master bedroom have a built-in hamper and closet combo like this, that is connected to the laundry room! Even better than a laundry chute

And now to the pretty non-organizing part of the program… the things that I just loved and wanted to share.
go-to truth: I love this quote and printable that I found over at My 3 Monsters — “Strong people don’t put others down. They lift them up.” So true, and such a good reminder any time of the year, especially in January when we’re all trying to be well fitted and better than last year. [Repin this here]

go-to tile color: Black. I’m really crushing on black tile lately! What do you think, love it or not so much?

go-to entry I’d love to have: Just look at that! I’m swooning. So direct but so elegantly vivid.
