The go-to happening around my house this week: we finally hung my Christmas present from my husband (that I bought myself) — the painter’s tape, it’ll come down eventually! (If you want to see more of the real life that happens around here, just follow me over on Instagram here!)

You can share your go-to completed projects here at this month’s link party and we picked a few from the party and around the web that we love and we think you will too!
go-to pretty organizing trick: I’m not much of a purse collector, but Melissa’s collection kind of makes me wish I were! And those fancy looking purse holders are a Handmade job! Get the details at Polished Habitat.
go-to console table (and, oh yea, it hides the radiator!) — This option that I saw over at Better Homes and Gardens is brilliant! I didn’t even notice it was a radiator cover up until I read the caption. Just build a vented cover/table around the radiator, and decorate it like a regular console or entry table.
go-to bathroom mirror: The whole makeover is vivid, but I’m loving the mirror in EyeForPretty’s bathroom!

go-to bookshelf-staircase-bunkbed combo — isn’t this loft bed with bookcase stairs memorable? Plus, the added storage along the rail of the bed is smart, even if you don’t have clearly cool bookshelf stairs to get into bed. (by Tamara H Designs, via HGTV)
go-to Instagram-brought-to-life: I can’t decide which part of this I like better — the solid Instagram gallery/collage wall, or that cool console table! Check it out at Bekob.
go-to thing I gotta try this summer: a sunbathing tote with a built-in pillow, and plenty of pockets for a drink, a book, and snacks. See how to make it over at The Golden Adventures of a Very Dark Horse.
go-to thing sitting on my desk which I’m also going to give away(!): this striking calendar from Michelle over at Elegance and Enchantment. I love Michelle’s yearly motivational calendars (see more details here) and she very generously sent us two to give away to some lucky readers!
One calendar is up for grabs here on the site — and the other will be given to one commenter over on our Facebook page here. So enter in the widget below AND over on Facebook to increase your chances of having one of these beauties sitting on your desk, too! (Note: The 2016 calendar comes in a cool little jewel case/stand, but if you want the cute little easel, you can pick one up here on Amazon.)
Just in case you don’t win, or if you want one of Michelle’s other striking calendars — Michelle gave us a special Bekob code to get you 25% off printed calendars, now through 1/31. Visit her Etsy shop here, and use the code REMODELCAL25.
