Okay, so for the last two months I have been running around like a headless chicken- busy and brainless! Just too much going on. Mostly because inexplicably about 10 HUGE deadlines came up all in the month of September. And we were going out of town the first 2 weeks of October, so the deadlines couldn’t be extended!
I don’t know about you, but when I get that overwhelmed, I can’t seem to see straight. Much less make myself get anything done but what is absolutely necessary. So my house, is a disaster. And the projects we were working on made it worse! Here is some awful proof from a closet we have been repurposing, just to humiliate myself ( and show you the truth about huge projects!)
All of our piano music…
And actually relatively clean view of a bunch of toys and books!
And games galore! YIKES!
Since getting home for the last week or so I have had my friend over to help me do some cleaning and organizing because with the move to WordPress (yes we opened that can of worms… but I am still glad about it!) there are about 85,000,000 million things to be done and updated and cleaned and organized and found for that matter… (I lost all my first 120 posts….) and recently I noticed that half of the imported posts and missing half of the actual writing and images…. HEADACHE! So, I may not be very present for the next little while.
Actually, I should take the time to ask for some help with special guest featuress… Christmas or Thanksgiving themed is what I am looking for, that I could feature… if you have anything send it my way! PLEASE! [email protected].
Anywho, I am not here to complain, instead to tell you about the project that had been HEAVY HEAVY hanging over my poor head- that is now basically done. I am pretty sure it is one of my go-to projects we have EVER done! I HOPE you all love it.
BUT you won’t see it here first. This project was done thanks to a partnership with HouseLogic. Which means they get the honor of showing it off to you over the next four Mondays. And if you leave a comment on the post you will get the chance to win a $100 gift certificate (with each post!) So, you have to stop by House Logic to check it out.
Just to give you a teaser here is a portion of the wall and the initial drawing I did of the project when we first considered it… The design and scope of the project increased about 1000 % but this might just get you sorta excited for it!
Our Great Wall of Cabinets Project:
Well?!… Thoughts? P lease be sure to go check it out today!
