When you’re aiming for a revitalized look but need to work around existing, often strongly-colored, pieces like a burgundy couch, a strategic approach is key. Here are my top suggestions for achieving a fresh, neutral aesthetic while making your existing furniture shine:

Embrace the Power of Neutrals:

One of the biggest pitfalls when decorating around a distinctive piece like a burgundy couch is feeling compelled to select colors that *only* work with it. This can lead to a sense of being trapped, as replacing the couch later would necessitate redoing the entire room.
