This holidays walkthrough stays in the order the work happens.
This striking project creates a layered paper flower garland that you can enjoy for years to come. Fun to craft and fun to look at!

It has not been a clearly long winter where we are. In fact, I would say it has been pleasant, with just enough snow and cold to be a proper season change and provide the kids with some good sledding. But I would not be telling the whole truth if I didn’t say I am excited for spring and summer to be here!
So much so, that I decided to invite some “fresh” spring flowers to share our home with us for a while. And I am telling you at has been so cheerful to see these striking garlands through out my house (and BONUS they made a well fitted added decoration for my 5 year old’s birthday party last week!)
We pulled inspiration for this month’s Canon printable from the Camellia flower, with some creative liberties of course.

Ultimately, my graphic designer came up with these, and I am so in love with them!
Don’t you love it too? Good! Because they are an straightforward instant download printable that you, too, can make!

I decided that a video walkthrough for actually putting the flowers together would be best and really I had a lot of fun making it. Please click to watch, give us a thumbs up and subscribe to our YouTube channel! (Can’t see the video? Watch it here.)
We printed the flowers from our striking gold Canon PIXMA MG7720 on to 8.5″ x 11″ white card stock, the print is double sided, and was SO straightforward in our PIXMA printer, and you can see in the walkthrough video just how straightforward it was to print. And if you want the same solid wired raffia “vine” — you can get it here on Amazon (affiliate link).
This project is the well fitted Netflix binge craft BTW! You get your TV and feel like you accomplished something at the same time!! (wait, am I trying to make excuses for watching the first season of White Collar last week?… maybe!) Lastly, because we are so in love with these I have to share how they look hung up in our entry:

The pink was well fitted for what I wanted in my home, but if you’re in need of more or different colors, you’re in luck! We added a turquoise, teal, and yellow and you can get the whole paper flower template set below (which includes dogwood flower template, too!). The set includes all 4 colors in PDF, PNG, and SVG formats for use with a digital cutting machine like a Cricut or Silhouette, to.

Update: We also made some printable paper dogflower blooms!
Did you see last month’s Canon Printable. I am still in love with it, and have it up in my house for the long haul!

I have been sponsored by Canon to create this project. All opinions are my own!
