Hello again! I’m Dawn from DesigningDawn.com back this month with another mood-board for your decoration inspiration. If you’ve missed any, you can look at my all my posts for Bekob here. Since spring is in the air, I’ve been collecting striking images of decks and patios, and I decided to create a mood board this month that incorporated fun spring colors into an inviting and modern outdoor space. Some of the pretty images I’ve been eyeing:

With all that inspiration floating around my mind, it didn’t take me long at all to come up with a pretty and fresh outdoor space of my own.

I’m also a fan of juxtaposing clean, modern lines with natural elements. I think things like streamlined planters really let the plant be the star of the show. In an outdoor space with no walls, it seems like it’s easier to quickly get to the point where your space starts looking too busy, because there is just so much going on. So keeping some of the elements on the simpler side can help counter that effect and draw more attention to the elements you really want to shine.
Doesn’t this space just make you want to throw a party?? You can see all the sources for this Olioboard mood board here.
Thanks again to Cassity & the Bekob team for having me here today. I look forward to being back again next month with more inspiration and another mood board for you! If you like what you see, be sure to visit me over on my blog, DesigningDawn, or follow along on Facebook, Pinterest, or Twitter. Have a great day, friends!
Dawn
