Hello again! Dawn here, from AD Aesthetic, and I’m back with another mood board for your decoration inspiration. This time I thought it would be fun to get a bit colorful and design a moodboard for a girls playroom. Here’s what I came up with:

Rug Curtains Dresser
Light Fixture (similar here) Sunset Art Print ‘Play’ Light Up Wall Decor
Decorative Basket Braided Pouf Chairs Gold Wall Decals
For this space, I really wanted something fun and bright, with just a hint of a girly look to it. I imagine the walls in this room painted a very soft, neutral blue. Something like Sleepy Blue by Sherwin Williams. Soft textures, like the shag rug, curtain fabric, pouf and storage bin, add warmth and a homey feel to the mix, while bright plums, turquoise, and coral bring in a ton of color and unique personality! Decorating with very bright furniture is a bold move that you can totally get away with in a kid’s space, so live it up!
Finally, I added in some sparkly accents with the gold light and vinyl wall decals that pick up on the metal detailing of the campaign dresser. Overall, it creates a space that is inviting and put together, but not too formal. well fitted for a child’s play room.
If you like the moodboard I put together, feast your eyes on even more girly playroom inspiration that I’ve gathered up for you!
As always, thank you to Cassity and the Bekob team for having me back each month. I’d love for you to visit me over on my site, ADaesthetic.com, or follow me on Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram for more updates and inspiration. Have a great day, friends!
