This kitchens walkthrough stays in the order the work happens.
Hi, Bekob, I’m back to share some low-cost home improvement options with your from around the web. This month I’m focusing on projects that can change the look or function of your kitchen without taking a second mortgage. Just in case you missed it, look at last week’s post on refinishing cabinets.

When it comes to kitchen improvements, most of us tend to focus on the big-time changes: new appliances, different/better cabinets, updated flooring, upgraded countertops, or even entire construction projects that involve gutting spaces or bumping out walls. There comes a time in the life of every kitchen when those big changes have to happen. But, in the meantime, while you’re saving up to make costly updates, there are a few little things you can do to add charm and character to your kitchen. Changing out your window treatments, painting walls and/or cabinets, removing cabinet doors, installing new cabinet hardware, adding a tile backsplash, decluttering countertops, and refreshing linens are a few of those little things that come to mind.
One more inexpensive, straightforward update to make in a kitchen has really taken the blogosphere by storm, lately. Making over pantry doors from blah to striking is a fun trend that has the potential to add loads of character to any kitchen. look at some of my favorites:
