Chocolate Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies

At church on Sunday we had a potluck and someone (thanks Sydny) brought no bake cookies. They were good. So, I have been thinking about them ever since…not so good since I started working out yesterday… but oh well, I still thought it would be fun to share with you the recipe I like to make.

I should explain that I did not grow up with no bake cookies, so this recipe has been a pretty new addition to our dessert repertoire. But I think they are a fun alternative to having to actually do any baking. And I am starting to like them more and more. I am going to have to play around a bit with the recipe to see what other madness I can make out of it. For example, this time I added whole salted peanuts. I haven’t done this before, but I honestly don’t think I EVER will make them again without peanuts it was such a welcome addition.

It is important to boil the chocolate mixture for at least a minute and maybe closer to two. This makes the sauce more fudge-like and I promise, it is just better that way! Happy cooking! Let me know if you try them!
